WHY ARE YOU SO THIN?

Growing up I've been asked this question countless times,I don't get why people don't want to get used to it because I come from a family were we are naturally thin, so I don't get why people won't accept that it is not our fault 🤷🏽, we eat like everyone else and sometimes eat more than every one else but that "fat genes" just chooses to elude us😁😁.

Been skinny is all fun and cute because you eat as much as you want and don't think of adding weight, but then you will realise that in our society Nigeria to be precise we are not appreciated, because "they" love them thick and curvy and even if we want to accept ourselves for who and what we are it's very hard because we are not accepted for what we are. Another disadvantage of been skinny is having a small stature which sometimes makes people think you are younger than your age, let me gist you of something that happened some years back. 

So my younger sister and I went out and we met this girl along the way, my sister greeted this girl and me to carry my big mouth and greeted the girl🙊, after she passed my sister said " this girl is your junior o, shey u did not remember her when you were still in school ni"??, I said "ehn", then she was like she was my junior back then in secondary school NOT ONE YEAR JUNIOR O, so you should imagine how embarrassing it felt. I mean I can't remember all my juniors in secondary school now, it was like I should go back and "ungreet" her, but then it was not her fault she looked like my someone that was 15 years older than me. If I begin to narrate my skinny girl experiences ehn, it will turn to novel. 🤣🤣

So when people especially guys tell me "I love the way you are" Yes i love the way I am but you guys make it hard for us to accept ourselves completely.

When a girl takes drugs to make her add weight don't blame her because they hardly make clothes our size we end up slim fitting them and sometime spoil the cloth. 😭

When girls do butt, hips or breast enhancement don't blame her because every guy whether they admit it or not loves a thick,curvy babe.

In Nigeria fine girl is not enough o, you have to have either big boobs or big ass for you to really fit in.

Don't blame skinny girls if they do things to look bigger because it is guys that are old enough to be their younger brothers that asks us out 😂 if you think I'm lying ask any petite figured girl you know, they must have experienced it once or twice.

Don't blame any skinny girl that wants to get bigger because what you don't know is people look at us and immediately see you as a small girl, until you tell them your age.

To every skinny, petite figured girl out there I know what you are going through because I am one of you. Just do what makes you happy if you think going under the knife will make you happy do it as long as you don't over do and if it ends up well for you GO GIRL!!!

And to us that are skinny and proud,we will continue eating as much as we like because we know no matter what we can't add weight 😌, and we have the assurance that even after dropping four children with a healthy diet we are still going to be looking like a sweet 16. So we are skinny and proud 💪🏾💪🏾.
